Homemade Scandinavian Baked Goods
"Tastes Like Heaven"
Our Treats are made fresh from scratch, just in time for market day.
We value locally grown, fresh ingredients made into traditional recipes that taste amazing. We like to keep it simple and emphasize flavor over flash.
We also care about our planet. Clear packaging and clamshell containers are the best way to display our treats. Usually, these materials are not the most recyclable. We will use eco-friendly containers when possible.

"A love letter to my ancestors"
Baking has been around me my whole life.
I have fond memories of hanging out in the kitchen with my Nana and other female relatives. Holiday feasts always included flatbrød, krumkaker, sandbakelse, and lefse. All homemade by these amazing women.
Sadly, they have all passed away. I find the older I get, the more I crave just a little more time hanging out in that kitchen.
Sweet Valhalla is my love letter to those beautiful, funny, and strong women. I wouldn't be who I am without them. I miss you all, but will proudly carry the torch.
"7 Kinds of Cookies"
This is an old-fashioned Swedish fika etiquette. It states that there ought to be seven kinds of cookies available - no less, because that would mean the host was cheap, but also no more, because that would imply a pretentious host!
I will always offer 7 treats: 2 types of buns, 2 mini-bundts, 2 cookies, and one brownie or cake.
